What 2025 Taught Me — and What’s Coming Next
As the year winds down, I’ve been reflecting on what we’ve built together — and I keep coming back to one word: inconceivable.
The AI Quilter started as a tiny idea in a corner of my heart, and thanks to this community, it’s grown into something far bigger, more connected, and more meaningful than I expected.
This year, quilters from all over the world reached out. I’ve heard from makers in Australia, Italy, Brazil, England, South Africa, Canada, and across the U.S. each with their own story, their own creative voice, and their own hopes for what technology can make easier, more accessible, or more inspiring. Those conversations are the heartbeat of this work.
Celebrating What We Made Together in 2025
One of my favorite parts of the year was releasing patterns that pushed creative boundaries while staying deeply practical. Pucker Up brought bold, modern curves to the foreground in a way that’s approachable even if you’re new to that style. Wifey took a more playful, graphic direction; a pattern that so many of you have stitched as gifts, pillows, and love notes in quilt form.
And yes, this was also the year my book made its way into the world. Publishing it was both exhilarating and humbling. It opened doors I didn’t expect and created connections I’m truly thankful for. Seeing readers tag their projects, share their interpretations, and talk about how the book helped them rethink their process has been one of the highlights of my career.
Looking Ahead: What’s Coming in 2026
I have a lot planned for the coming year, including new quilt projects, expanded classes, deeper dives into ethical and human-centered AI, and more resources designed to help you build confidence — creatively, technically, and artistically.
