A quick video guide to feeding your fusible into an inject printer for precise, trace-free applique.
Step 1: Trim Your Sheets
Cut your Lite Steam-a-Seam 2 (LSAS2) roll or larger sheets down to standard US Letter (8.5 x 11 in) or A4 paper size, depending on your printer and pattern template specifications.
Step 2: Check Paper Orientation
Load the sheet into your paper tray so your printer applies ink directly onto the yellow grid side (the non-blank paper backing).
IMPORTANT
Important Safety Note: Use an inkjet printer only. Never use a laser printer or copier, as the internal heat will melt the fusible adhesive and damage your machine.
Step 3: Set Your Print Scale
In your print settings dialogue, select “Actual Size” or set the scale to 100%. Avoid options like “Fit to Page” or “Shrink to Fit,” as scaling changes the size of your pattern pieces.
Step 4: Verify Precision
Once printed, to confirm your scale is correct, measure the 1 inch and 3 cm calibration test box on your sheet with a ruler before cutting your pieces.
