My QuiltCon 2025 Favorite Memories
Folks, my first experience on the faculty of QuiltCon was AMAZING! There aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe it. Here are some of my favorite moments below.
Meeting Some of My Quilting Heroes
I got to meet Verushka Zerate (winner of Best In Show), Karlee Porter (so helpful), Maddie Kertay (so inspirational), Jen Kingwell (a master of color), and Chris Marchini (tremendous community builder). And of course we can’t forget the adorable dogs!
Learning AND Fun
In addition to teaching, I took a paper piecing class from Verushka Zerate of Pride and Joy Quilting and attended a Showcase hosted by the LA Modern Quilt Guild.
