Hi. I’m Theresa.

I created The AI Quilter to open doors and open minds.

This is a place for:

  • Quilt traditionalists and modern quilters who want to explore digital design without losing the heart of the craft
  • Artists and makers who want to add textiles (and tech) to their toolkit
  • Program directors and shop owners who need engaging, thoughtful speakers and classes
  • Creatives of all kinds who don’t want the hype—they want helpful

No experience required. No tech background needed.

Just bring your brain, your hands, and your questions.

Whether you’re stitching your first quilt or designing your next exhibit, there’s something here for you.

Maybe you’re a long-time guild member.
Maybe you’re an artist experimenting with advanced technology for the first time.
Maybe you just want to understand what AI means for your creative life—and how to use it without losing what you love.

Whoever you are, wherever you are in your creative process: You belong here.

What you'll find here

Trusted by creators, educators, and communities nationwide.

I’ve been invited to speak, teach, and share my work across a range of spaces—quilt guilds, shops, and libraries, yes, but also magazines, podcasts, and creative communities that care deeply about the future of making.

These features and collaborations reflect one thing:

People are hungry for fresh ideas that honor tradition and invite innovation.
